Crossing over 10,700 Hits~!

10700 hits!

Wow! Crossing over 10,700 Hits~! and its increasing!

A coverpage to celebrate this historic moment! I didn't color it because my latop had went down again~

Well, first of all, a very HUGE thank you to all the people who have been visiting this small little blog of mine. Also to those who have been supporting me in my artistic endeavors.. You guys are incredible!! I'll still keep on drawing and hopefully in the months to come, some real solid artworks will be posted after I purchase a laptop. The deal has been made, and I'll get my first very own tablet come October!

I'm very excited because its the first laptop that I've ever bought for myself and its a tablet! Its going to make things alot more efficient and fast.

Last Thurs, I've made a trip to Kinokuniya and realize that SS Vol. 14 is out. I had never purchase it so I was very keen to know what's inside. For much of the time though, I was trying to figure out what the Japanese language meant... I really need to learn Japanese!

Next,I was thrilled when I found out that one of my all-time Arcade Game Fighting was in print! I had been looking for King of fighters comics and was very please to find SVC Chaos, a crossover between SNK's King of Fighters and Capcom's Street Fighter. This series never disappoint me. The fighting scenes were facinating and the CG-ing style was great.. There were about 8 vols. and I can't wait to complete the series.
SVC Vs CapCon Chaos!

Hmm... Recently, I've been catching up with Eiichiro Oda's One Piece,. According to Wiki, it is the third highest selling manga in the history of Weekly Shōnen Jump, behind Kochikame and Dragon Ball... A remarkable feat! I think it was in vol. 37. Teacher Oda, mentioned that he just got married and is at the age of 30. He mentioned that although being an artist have to endure inconsistent income and the possibility of not earning any, however, he really enjoys it and is something he would love to do all the days of his life.

Isn't it great to be happy doing what you like?

Central Park Football Club

Recently, a friend of mine, who is also the CEO of Central Park Football Club, asked me to design a mascot for his club. It was a great priviledge to be able to design for his football club. I've always wanted to do it for some club since I'm a football fan too! Now I got my chance. Central Park FC has been playing competitvely since its inception in 2003.

Check out his AWESOME club at :

Pursuing excellence in arts~

Hi guys,

A birthday card I was tasked to create for one of the Church member.. It's her Birthday!

I'm not very good in Arts & Crafts but she say she likes it, so that's a WINNER~! ^^

As the days gone by, the feeling of lacking in practice is starting to creep around me. It's so disturbing to the point that I'm begining to feel a sense desperation.

For those who needed some push to draw like myself, I've managed to find some useful refernce guides for practice.

Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards

Keys to Drawing by Bert Dodson

Natural Way to Draw

and lastly,

Drawing for Older Children and Teens; A Creative Method that works for Adult Beginners Too by Mona Brookes

Do check out this website, Portrait-artist(Click), it contains lots of good stuffs for artists.

Artistitc Expressionism...

This is a work I did few weeks back, I didn't really have the time to scan it in due to Ah mao and other artworks I'm doing. Its a reference from a bnewspaper article. I like the perspective shown in the photograph which focus on the sign board. My Chinese language isn't that strong, however, I think the Chinese character meant clean oil.

The past few weeks I've been working to produce something. It's not that I've run out of idea, but the idea is not as strong as I hope to be. As such, I delayed posting for nearly a week! Its not going to happen again.

I've also decided to change the use of the language from English to Chinese. After using the English language for much of the intial artworks' desciption, I soon find it hard to express my actual feelings in English words. The Chinese language, however, have a wider choice of desriptive expression which I can use easily.
